The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering providers including new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency mentioned it is alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area each SRD day. The provider position made for intervention ordeals a superior inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise a lot more sources to enable the servicing of all customers and maximize use of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
